Mashhad to Host Iranian and Foreign Tourist Agencies
The international fair is to kick off on August 23 for 8-days.
Speaking to IRNA, he said agencies from France, Mexico, Turkey, Lebanon, Colombia, Tunisia, Sri Lanka, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates are to display the tourist attractions of their respective countries as well as their related industries at the fair.
On the sideline of the fair, festivals on handicrafts, decorative arts, traditional foods as well as country music concert are to be held for the public, he said.
The foreign participants are to supply and serve their traditional foods at the fair, he pointed out.
The pavilions of the fair are to be set up in a two-hectare of roofed-area and three hectares of open land, he said.
Iran ranks among the top ten countries in the world for having tourist attractions and 89 for its earning from the tourism industry, Akbari said.
The international fair will help Iran introduce its tourist attractions, traditional music along with its local foods, he concluded.
